Your Responsibilities

As a Warranty Administrator for John Deere Kernersville (East Campus) located in Kernersville, NC, you will be responsible to evaluate and determine responsibility for warranty claims, p roduce, update, and provide accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting into standard formats. In addition, you will:

• Develop data analysis tools as necessary to better understand emerging issues and systemic warranty drivers
• Track trends in customer and product data, compare to goals, and work with appropriate departments so that necessary actions will be taken
• Identify and assist with implementation of safety, cost reduction, quality, ergonomic improvements and efficiency improvements

What Skills You Need

• Must have good communication and organizational skills and an understanding of manufacturing processes
• Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions, and formulating plans or policies
• Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements
• Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
• Supports business processes without supervision by understanding and effectively using standard office equipment and standard software packages, while providing technical guidance as needed
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
• 1 or more years of experience with manufacturing

What Makes You Stand Out

• Data Analysis Skills and proficiency in databases a plus
• Must have good problem solving and analytical skills and should have the ability to work independently, self-directed and be solutions oriented

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or technology
