This position is with Corporate & Site Services (CSS), part of the IS&O organization. Our global team of 32 procurement specialists aims to deliver superior performance to the organization in the areas of value creation, supplier management, and supplier risk mitigation through strategic sourcing initiatives for Human Resource Services, Professional Services and Site Services functions of the company. Some examples are through strategic partnering with the business, safely tapping supply markets for innovation, proactively managing key suppliers finding new Diverse solutions for our Company's, mitigating supply risk, applying rigorous sourcing methodologies, and ensuring effective cost management.

CSS group is inclusive of: HR Services : HR Operations, Talent management, External Workforce, US & International Benefits; Professional Services : Financial Services, Language Services, Business Process Outsourcing, Advisory Services, Legal and Payroll; Site Services : Integrated Facilities Management and Governance, Real Estate, Office Supplies and Furniture, Industrial Gases, Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO), and Archiving.

The Senior Specialist -Strategic Programs & Business Operations will contribute to the overall CSS organization with current and new business transformation projects, bringing the discipline, execution and implementation skills required to help implement the large number of initiatives being managed by the CSS Team, while helping to drive alignment to higher-level strategies, priorities, and initiatives within IS&O as well as Global Supplier Management Group (GSMG) & Global Workplace & Enterprise Services (GWES). This team member will work closely with the global team members across the global sourcing & procurement teams, colleagues within CSS and GSMG Process, Operations & Strategy (PO&S), Supplier Development & Performance Management (SD&PM) and GWES to ensure the initiatives are managed effectively and reported to appropriate senior level leaders in our GSMG/GWES group, stakeholders and business unit partners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the gathering, creation, delivery, tracking, analysis, modelling and management of information regarding the overall IS&O organizational objectives, contributing to accelerate organizational performance through effective project management and communications, strategy development, and focused team performance.

This role will work extensively with CSS colleagues globally on strategic priorities.

The ideal candidate should have an interest in learning Procurement processes and apply business skills to support also audit and data analysis needs for internal business partners.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Sourcing Management in detailed market analyses, with the objective of providing deep and meaningful insights, leveraging data visualization and reporting
  • Communication : Collaborative approach for organization including helping to plan large team meetings such as Annual Business Plan, all group meetings and create global communications.
  • Strategic Programs : Helps to develop and execute strategic and business initiatives across the CSS organization, in support of organizational priorities aligned to our Company's business strategy and objectives; Partners with CSS Leadership on prioritization of strategic initiatives and tracking of progress
  • Project Management : Assists leadership for initiatives within Indirect Sourcing & Operations ( IS&O ) and activities in support of organization operations, enhancements, and day-to-day requirements; Adopt high quality change practices with customers and stakeholders. Be a leader by example and practice, embodying our Company's Enterprise Leadership Skills.
  • Stakeholder Management : Work in a way that positively engages the support of business colleagues using problem solving, transparency, and proactive communication skills. Build sourcing management pipeline, ensuring stakeholder alignment and compliance to supply management processes.
  • Finance : Coordinates with IS&O Leaders, Business Stakeholders and Finance on profit plan development and management, and assists with quarterly forecasts and long range planning
  • Business requirements/cost management focus - Must have keen insight and understanding of business requirements and works collaboratively with team to drive cost reductions.
  • Continuous Improvement - Help drive team operational performance, taking part in both objective setting and monitoring performance relative to established KPI's. Drive improvements in both sourcing & operation effectiveness and efficiency, eliminating non-value work as needed.
  • Audit : Act as key point of contact for all contract documentation in support of global audit & data requests across categories and regions. This includes ensuring documentation is filed correctly, training procurement staff in archiving procedures, addressing procurement staff's questions regarding procedures and addressing requests for documentation and tracking all activities.

Education Minimum Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Business, Engineering, Science, Supply Chain or Procurement related area


Required Experience and Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience preferred in Audit or Chief of Staff and/or PMO role with demonstrated successful implementation experience, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with senior/executive leaders.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, showcasing self-directed initiative and the capability to navigate complex technical challenges independently.
  • Willingness to find answers to challenges on their own, and through connectivity with internal and external collaborative outlets.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.
  • Experience in large-scale organizational change initiatives
  • Experience in strategy development, strategic planning and strategy implementation

Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier management and/or operational management
  • International experience, with a proven track record of thriving in a global environment.
  • Knowledge of performance management & reporting and operations management best practices
  • Understanding of the category management process and audits
  • Proven proficiency in utilizing a diverse range of tools to extract, analyze, and visualize data, with expertise in platforms such as SQL, MongoDB, Spotfire, R, Python, Tableau, and/or Power-BI, showcasing the ability to derive actionable insights.
  • Practical experience in the utilization and/or development of Business Intelligence digital visualization and analytics tools to enhance operational efficiencies and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Ariba and/or analogous sourcing and purchasing systems, demonstrating the ability to leverage these technologies effectively within a procurement and supplier management context.
  • Process Improvement and project management experience. Working knowledge of other project management processes (e.g. risk, issue and assumptions management, change control and project reporting).
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certified

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US salary range:
$91,600.00 - $144,100.00
