Job Summary and Qualifications

 Under general supervison, prepares, seasons, and cooks a wide variety of food items in appropriate quantities while following meuns, recipes and production sheets while maintaining a clean and sanitary work area. Communicates with other production staff regarding menus, recipes and portion sizes. Provides training and guidance to other employees performing related work.  

 

  Quality

 • Adhere to HACCP/food safety guidelines/policies & procedures 

• Demonstrates,understands and practices safe food handling techniques.

 • Maintain and adhere to Food & Nutritions uniform and personal appearance standards at all time 

• Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions.  

  Service

 • Utilizes proper equipment to produce standard recipes. 

• Utilizes systems to quality process/standards in food production 

• Reports customer compliants to appropriate supervisor. 

People 

• Foster a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organization.

 • Participate in team and individual employee training. 

Growth

 • Participate in training with other members of the production staff to further develop/advance within the industry. 

Finance 

• Utilizes cost control processes to meet goals and reduce waste. Follow all time keeping standards: time clock procedures, meal breaks, timely clocking Utilizes systems to meet vendor/product compliance goals 

Other

 • Performs other duties as assigned. 

• Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement.”  

  Education & Experience: 

• High School Graduate\Equivalent. Preferred 

• 2 + years of experience in healthcare Preferred 

• 2 + years of experience in quanity cooking Preferred
