Job Description Nurse Leader - MSK Inpatient Acute Care Services Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Nurse Leader on Memorial 12, a 43-bed medical oncology unit (Leukemia/Lymphoma) and Inpatient Chemotherapy Infusion team. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to lead, direct, and make a meaningful impact on our team and in the lives of our patients and their families. Role Overview: The Nurse Leader (NL) has authority and accountability for administrative, clinical, and human resource operations at the point of care. Provides leadership in alignment with the vision, mission, values, and goals of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) and the Department of Nursing. Utilizes the dimensions of Relationship-Based Care to cultivate an empowered and engaged work force committed to clinical excellence, quality care and service to patients and families. Provide clinical and administrative leadership for nursing staff by developing and implementing programs, services, procedures, and quality nursing standards to ensure exemplary care for patients admitted into acute setting. Will play a pivotal role in offering transformational leadership by creating and sustaining a healthy work environment that supports, furthers, and promotes excellence in patient care, clinical nursing practice, and patient safety. Key Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license/registration National Certification is a plus A minimum of 5 years recent, related clinical experience. Acute care and/or medical oncology experience highly preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills.
