The Global Client Executive will directly assist the Global Client Director in maximising existing revenue and driving new business. You will support the Director, and will cultivate your own, positive and deep relationships within your agencies and smaller client patch to drive commercial revenue globally across all Hearst platforms (both Print & Digital) and products including (but not limited to) Content Partnerships, Display, Programmatic, Social & Events.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • A key part of the role will be, working with the Global client director to proactively seek out new briefs and pitching pro-active ideas based on agency/advertiser insight and requirements.
  • This is vital to the role and means that the successful candidate will be someone that can work independently and research the market to find new commercial opportunities.
  • You will build close connections to specific clients and agency planning departments and be responsible for the Director in answering a selection of incoming briefs and information requests correctly and in a timely manner, supported by data and insight.
  • You will be able to naturally develop a significant working knowledge of Hearst brands and its commercial portfolio and products, so that you can sell these as a true expert and act as a brand ambassador at all times.
  • You will support the Global Client Director to ensure you keep the sales pipelines up to date, reconciling reports at the end of each quarter and take on sales or marketing tasks as and when required.
ABOUT YOU
  • 1 - 2 years previous experience working at an agency or media owner
  • A team player - but also someone that can operate independently
  • Efficient user of Excel and PowerPoint/Keynote in order to create sales materials and pitch decks
  • A positive can-do attitude willing to get involved and support in the day to day business.
