Armed Transit Security Officer Flex - Military Veterans

Full time Armed Transit Security Officer provides a visible presence, maintains safety, and public order on trains and platforms. Our officers are conducting fare enforcement on the trains, conducting foot patrols on the platforms, and interacting with the general public going through our transportation system. Must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws and have a valid CO driver's license or state ID.

• Pay Rate $27.46 an hour
• Flexible pay options like DailyPay and weekly pay

The ideal officer will be available as a flex willing to pick up at least 1 shift a week, may pick up to 40 hours worth of shifts plus opportunity for overtime. Opportunity for full time positions will be available as shifts open up.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Must have prior law enforcement, Military, or corrections experience may be substituted with 7 years of unarmed security experience, 3 years of armed security or 60 college credit units
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
