Decision Technologies seeks a qualified Test and Evaluation Engineer to join our Arlington, VA team.
Position Description:
Decision Technologies, Inc. seeks a self-motivated individual who can provide immediate engineering expertise and technical support to surface ship weapons test and evaluation programs sponsored by the Program Executive Office - Integrated Warfare Systems.
MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS CLEARANCE
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Participate in all aspects of Missile and Weapon System test planning, execution, data analysis, and results reporting by providing on-site technical and programmatic assistance to the Developmental Test Lead.
- Interface with a geographically diverse team consisting of the USN Program Office, Navy Laboratories, Weapon System Design Agent, and test ranges.
- Support the validation of test procedures at various facilities, including Navy Laboratories, test ranges, and the Weapon System Design Agent facilities.
- Participate in frequent technical interchange meetings and working groups to resolve issues as required.
- Contribute to customer briefings and presentations.
- Coordinate efforts and liaise between the program office, test range, and participating Navy and contractor organizations supporting T&E activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ Years of Test and Evaluation (T&E) related experience related to DoD /Naval Weapons Systems / Missile Systems Engineering

- Travel to prime contractors, government labs, and field activities supporting test activities and meetings.
- Travel to test ranges in support of flight test event execution.
- Travel requirements are generally flexible, with an average travel duration of 3-5 days at a rate of approximately one trip per month, depending on testing schedules.
