A Wellness Client Care Specialist 2 (WCC2) contributes to AHF by presenting a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in our Wellness Clinics. A WCCS2 is a hybrid role providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to members within wellness programs.
A WCCS2 enhances the reputation of AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability. With a versatile skill set and dedication to seamlessly transitioning between clinical, administrative, and front office roles, WCCS2s contribute to a positive experience, fostering trust and loyalty.

To be successful as a WCCS2 it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. At AHF we are nimble and able to adapt in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for our clients and workplace for our employees.
AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.
The WCCS2 will work as a part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care by collecting medical histories, managing tests/screenings, recording vitals, and addressing health complaints. They will facilitate patient registration, appointment management, and electronic chart creation. The role requires proficiency in data documentation, including referrals and reports. A valid phlebotomy license or medical assistanct certificate is necessary, with skills in venipuncture and sample collection, including blood and other specifmens, preparing them for laboratory analysis.
