Education Baccalaureate degree or higher Experience Dental Assistant, Hygienist or Dentist with occupational experience in the application of four handed dentistry principles, either as a dental assistant or working with a chairside assistant is required. Three years full time paid experience in four-handed dentistry of which three months within the last four years, preferred. Community College teaching experience in Dental Assisting, preferred. Previous experience with healthcare accreditation organizations, preferred. Bi-lingual and diversity experience encouraged. Credentials Oregon Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) required. Expanded Function Orthodontic Dental Assistant (EFODA), preferred Oregon Sealant Certificate, preferred Oregon Temporary Soft Reline for Denture Certificate, preferred Certified Dental Assistant or must obtain CDA certificate within three months of hire.
