Available Title(s): 626J-YYCSNPS - Maintenance Mechanic 1 Business Title: Maintenance Mechanic 1 Employee Type: Classified Position Details: Summary of Duties: This position performs semi-skilled work in the maintenance, repair, remodeling, alterations and construction of buildings, facilities, and equipment. Perform general maintenance on building interiors and exteriors. Coordinate and work with other trades and crafts in support of new or remodel construction. Required Qualifications: High school graduation or equivalent and two years of general work experience in building and equipment maintenance, construction or repair work; OR equivalent education/experience. Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver's license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Plumbing, Electrical, Refrigeration, Carpentry, Painting, or HVAC/Control repair fields of work.
