Program Manager - Telecommunications - Military Veterans

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Program Manager with a Telecommunications background to assist a government customer with deploying a broadband solution by bolstering internet connectivity of body worn cameras while in the field. This person will need to be experienced in driving complex telecom implementation projects from start to finish and be a highly effective communicator. This position will be Hybrid in Washington, DC and will require a government background check for a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of Program Manager:

·      Coordinate with BD, Capture, & PMO team to identify key areas for support for government customer

·      Managing Third party vendors & overseeing their activities to meet project deliverables

·      Interfacing with Federal Customers & Project Management Team to identify global requirements and bring in the right personnel

·      Budgeting, Planning, Risk Management, Scheduling, & preparing risk management for multiple sites with key personnel

·      Providing analytical support, tracking projects, business process improvement, and stakeholder communication at all levels

Qualifications of Program Manager:

·      A bachelor’s or associate’s Degree in a relevant field

·      Detailed understanding of wireline services & implementation

·      4+ years of experience in Program Management

·      Experience managing the implementation of 500+ sites

·      Experience supporting DOJ or US Marshall’s office

Compensation for Project Manager:

·      Salary: 150k-180k with Federal Holidays & Paid Time Off
