Expected salary range of $135,000 to $150,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The accreditation manager is accountable for the governance and oversight of training program accreditation. This role is responsible for planning, development, implementation and execution of site National Academy for Nuclear Training (NANT) initial accreditation.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage all activities related to initial accreditation & accreditation renewal of training programs.
  • Provide support and oversight of accreditation needs, including initial accreditation activity preparations, associated challenge boards, and accreditation related visit preparations. Provides oversight of the initial accreditation for operations, maintenance, and technical training programs for the site.
  • Provides oversight for issues, activities, or changes impacting systematic approach to training implementation and initial accreditation.
  • Manage the development and implementation of station training programs in support of improved plant performance while ensuring that training programs meet the accreditation requirements and utilize the systematic approach to training.
  • Lead teams from multiple organizations in accomplishing diverse tasks and assignments.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, education/training, or business, with 8 years training experience, of which a minimum of 6 years of training experience in the nuclear industry OR
  • An associate's degree in a technical discipline, education/training, or business, with 10 years training experience, of which a minimum of 7 years of training experience in the nuclear industryOR
  • In lieu of a degree, 12 years training experience, of which a minimum of 8 years of training experience in the nuclear industry
  • Demonstrated accreditation experience, including renewal and board practices, experience on or with INPO accreditation or evaluation teams, and/or accreditation manager experience, and/or line manager ownership of an accredited training programs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Leadership of an industry working group or position on an industry advisory board
  • Held the position of INPO Accreditation Team Leader or INPO Accreditation Training Evaluator.
  • Experience in a position overseeing simulator oversight, and training technology implementation.
  • Operations training experience with oversight of simulator testing, hardware and software support functions
