Position Specific Description
You will lead the Financial Operations (FinOps) agile team, serving EverBright's internal financing team, with a goal of enabling effective, efficient, and compliant management of our residential clean energy financing business. Responsibilities will include but aren't limited to helping make it easier to onboard and train partners to our flagship partner platform, managing financial and physical products in our systems, and maintaining integrity and compliance across the platform to bolster EverBright's overall success and our reputation as the best decarbonization partner in America.
What You'll Do:
- Strategy: Help develop, gain alignment on, and execute a strategic roadmap for FinOps.
- Product Development: Drive product development from concept to go-to-market with strong ownership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, finance, sales, configuration, marketing and other teams to ensure alignment of goals and outcomes.
- Customer Insights: Engage with customers (internal and partners) to identify pain points, opportunities, and insights to move the business forward.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use data and analysis to drive decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Metric Definition: Define and track key performance metrics to ensure we are delivering value.
- Productization: Productize intensive processes to support revenue protection and decrease the time to value for new users.
- Other Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with finance.
- Familiarity with building for internal or B2B customers.
- Previous experience productizing complex processes.
- Understanding of clean energy and sustainability.
Job Overview
This position owns key initiatives within a workstream pertaining to a specific functional area. Employees contribute at a team level, working cross-functionally and externally to drive product discovery, facilitate product delivery, and ensure product success.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Write clear and concise product briefs, epics, stories, and tasks that provide detailed requirements for the development and QA teams with no supervision
- Contribute to the primary interaction with the implementation teams (Dev, QA, Design, and Marketing) to ensure successful product delivery
- Work closely with the functional area-specific teams to ensure their tools are fully supported and issues are resolved quickly
- Own research and product discovery across internal business units and external parties, and document requirements with no supervision
- Own the requirements, implementation, and documentation of specific features
- Own data analysis to inform data-driven decisions and define insights
- Own product roadmap for an initiative with limited supervision
- Ensure functional area documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
- Develops a clear understanding of the competitor landscape, market trends, and customer/partner needs as it pertains to a specific domain
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
