Supply Chain Intern - Military Veterans

General Information:
Interns gain vocational experience through temporary work placement. They learn by doing tasks, as directed, to support Hitachi Energy operations. Through the internship program, students are able to enhance personal and educational skills all while gaining on-the job experience.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform the assignments associated with various supply chain, purchasing, and procurement activities
- Support the implementation, delivery and continuous improvement of products and services within defined areas as directed
- Learn to accomplish relevant tasks through practical experience, to support course of academic study and/or enhance personal employment opportunities
- Analyzes and monitors trends regarding incidents, inspections, audits, and corrective measures and keeps the Fulfilment Manager informed
- May work under direct supervisor or independently, generally delivering on pre-defined tasks
- Assignments require application of various concepts, familiarization with related computer programs, and general understanding of the operation in order to provide effective support
- Requires ability to communicate effectively and resolve routine problems

Your Background:
- Currently enrolled or recent graduate of a four-year college degree program
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
