You may have also acquired the following skills:

• Previous internship/co-op experience in field of study
• Proficient in Python, C/C++, Java, JavaScript, with experience in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and web development tools (e.g., ReactJS, Flask).
• Hands-on experience with machine learning models, full-stack applications, and academic or industrial AI research projects.
• Skilled in using tools like Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks, and MATLAB for data analysis and visualization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

As an AI Development Intern in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

• Work on innovative projects related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics to improve the performance of Framatome's Installed Base Business Unit
• Assist with the execution of AI and machine learning projects, including data collection, preprocessing, and model development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI applications within the nuclear energy sector.
• Conduct research and analysis to stay updated on the latest AI technologies and trends.
• Develop and implement algorithms to solve complex problems and improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in innovation workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and solutions.
• Support the preparation and presentation of project updates and findings to stakeholders.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $24.00 - $30.77 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
