Description of Work:
The project coordinator role is a strategic support to campus partners (academic colleges, university units and key auxiliary units) in coordinating project deliverables (print and digital) including the coordination of timelines, content organization and meeting scheduling.
This role is instrumental in coordinating the day-to-day projects that University Communication and Marketing supports and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and on budget. The project coordinator works daily with the UComm creative team and outside vendors to accomplish the responsibilities of various projects, often juggling multiple deadlines at once. This role manages the billing process for paid projects. The project coordinator reports to the associate director of strategic communication to ensure that projects maintain brand consistency.
The impact of this role is paramount in delivering high value marketing and communication deliverables that are on brand, on message, on time and on budget while supporting an impactful unit and its functional office requirements.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in management, business, project management or other related field of study and one (1) year administrative or program and/or project coordination experience preferably involving marketing and communications equivalent education/experience considered. Demonstrated accuracy in handling detailed work, organizing projects, and completing project tasks as assigned. Ability to work under pressure on concurrent projects with minimal supervision. Ability to work collaboratively and problem-solve. Ability to easily learn and adapt to new project management systems/tools/databases. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies, Journalism & Mass Communications, Business, Advertising, Marketing, or a related discipline. Two or more years of administrative and/or program/project coordination experience involving marketing and communications. Experience working in a marketing/advertising agency. Experience working with clients via in-person/Zoom meetings, email correspondence, and phone calls. Experience with billing, fiscal management, and office resources and processes. Experience using project management online systems, processes, tools, and databases. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud. Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft SharePoint.
Posted Salary: $22.596/hr minimum
