Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC30-A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft—a derivative of the Airbus A330-200. The platform is a trusted and proven asset, and the program is continually growing in capability and expertise.
Your Role
As the Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) Technical Lead you will provide direction on processes, tools, reporting, and support RAM activities. You will also be responsible for:
* Ensure potential airworthiness hazards and risks to safe operation of the Program identified during RAM analyses or investigations
* Provide strategic direction and ensure execution of Approved RAM program plans in support of fleet, maintenance planning, supply chain, obsolescence mitigation actions, engineering operations and capability development
* Engages and collaborates with Australian Defence Force platform specialists to develop and support RAM SME capabilities
About You
As an experience Reliability Engineering professional, you will be able to work in a dynamic environment with emerging requirements across airworthiness, reliability and obsolescence. Along with your working experience you will have:
* Degree Qualifications in Engineering (Electrical/Avionics, Aerospace, Mechanical Structures)
* Defence aviation leading, investigating, managing, or working within aviation reliability and system integrity programs
* Working knowledge of Defence aviation regulations relevant to Airworthiness requirements, specifically DASR Part 21M and DASR Part 21J, or equivalent
* Demonstrated Leadership experience
* Hold or be eligible for Professional Chartership (CPENG or RPEQ)
