Associate General Counsel | University of Kansas - Military Veterans

The Associate General Counsel is responsible for providing legal support to the University of Kansas. The Associate General Counsel will report to the General Counsel and Vice Chancellor for Legal Affairs for the University of Kansas. The Associate's primary duties will be on KU's main campus in Lawrence, Kansas, but may involve travel to other campuses from time to time. The Associate's primary responsibility is to represent the University of Kansas in legal matters arising from the operations of the University. The Associate General Counsel will play an important role in advancing the University's academic and business objectives and in protecting the University's overall interests by promoting effective operations and policy, and a culture of ethics, integrity, and compliance. In a fast-paced environment, the Associate is a seasoned attorney, enthusiastic about taking a client-centered approach to business practices on behalf of Kansas' flagship university.
