The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects. Position Summary Temporary, Non Exempt, Full Time, Benefited position through 6/30/2025 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance). Salary: $3,900.00-$4,420.00 per month. Location: On and off CSUSB campus. San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Work Schedule 40 hours per week. Typically, Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00PM, though some nights, weekend work may be required. First Review Deadline This position will remain open until filled. Typical Activities Under minimal supervision of the Operations Manager, the Project Specialist II will work independently to: Facilitating collaboration between districts, schools, CSUSB faculty and staff, and BLUE program; Keeping detailed records of meetings, course offerings, student participation, and other; Coordinating student registrations with Admissions and the Registrar; Supporting the recruitment of students into dual enrollment courses; Providing coordination to specialized academic and other events such as summer residential programs, project symposiums and completion celebrations; Keep inventory of project technology, supplies and materials; Serving as an event coordination liaison between staff, partners, community members, invited guests, etc. Collecting and reporting attendance data; Supporting the processing of related expenses; Managing communications platform; Ensure logistical aspects including space reservations, parking, hospitality, etc. are secured; Setting up and managing event registration, and other data in various platforms, as needed; Assisting with campus collaborations; Participation is staff, district, community and other meetings; Taking and providing edits to meeting minutes and other program documents, as needed; Supporting the completion of reports; Staying abreast of policies, trends, and best practices for dual enrollment programs; Frequent day travel to school/ community sites is required. Occasional professional development overnight travel is offered; Performing other duties as assigned; Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience: 4 years of professional experience. Other: Applicants must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Applicants must possess the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information, along with the ability to work cooperatively with a diverse group of people, exercise sound judgement, determine priorities, complete assigned projects in a timely manner and work well under tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience in a K-12 and/or higher education setting.
