Job Summary: The Production Control position is responsible for tracking parts to include the identification of any part shortages by engine to ensure that the production schedule is met. 

This is a 1st Shift position: Monday – Thursday 5 am – 3:30 pm

Employees must remain in their role for 12 months before posting to a new position.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate the parts tracking process on the shop floor
  • Reconcile parts, and coordinate part Swaps/Exchanges or material store back
  • Assist with coordinating the routing of parts to outside vendor and to internal repair.
  • Assist with PBOM reconciliation to ensure that all part requirements identified at the close of Gate I are recorded
  • Promote and participate in CORE activities
  • Swap/exchange material as required
  • Work closely with the Buyer/Planners on a daily basis
  • Participate in material review meetings
  • Work within groups to ensure that all parts have been kitted successfully to kit carts before rolling into build
  • Demonstrate a commitment to EH&S by meeting all training requirements, participating in committee assignments and performing audits as required

Qualifications You Must Have (< 5 bullets): 

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience in warehouse or production control environment and/or materials management organization.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
