Vacancy ID: PDS004379 Position Summary/Description: The Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders ( CEED ) in the Department of Psychiatry at the UNC -CH School of Medicine invites applications for a Clinical Post-Doctoral Fellowship. This is a full-time, two-year position with a start date of July 1, 2025. UNC CEED provides outstanding evidence-based, multidisciplinary inpatient and outpatient care for individuals with eating disorders. The fellowship position will be 80% clinical and 20% research. Advanced training and supervision will be provided on both inpatient and outpatient levels of care. Our training philosophy is based on the scientist-practitioner model: we provide fellows with advanced skills in the practice of psychology and the integration of evidence-based practices in a specialized eating disorder treatment facility. CEED works with a number of trainees including graduate students from a variety of disciplines, psychology interns, dietitians, medical students, and residents, which offers the opportunity for the fellow to provide supervision to junior trainees and engage in collegial interaction with peers. Following the completion of training, the fellow will be prepared to function independently at the assistant professor level within a medical school or other professional setting. Additional opportunities may be available including access to professional development lectures and journal clubs. More information about CEED can be found on our website (http://www.med.unc.edu/psych/eatingdisorders).
