Summary:
The Equipment Finance Asset Manager III will be responsible for equipment asset management functions. Within a fast-paced environment, this role will manage a variety of equipment categories such as construction, material handling, and rolling stock. In addition, the Equipment Finance Asset Manager III will work with assets in both the direct and vendor portfolios.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform machinery and equipment valuations
- Coordinate equipment inspections and attend credit review meetings
- Perform reconciliations and asset remarketing
- Interact regularly with the Collections team on repossessed assets
- Provide reporting and industry updates, working with management on structure, terms and tenure
- Complete miscellaneous projects, reporting and other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or experience
- 5+ years' experience in one of the core equipment management functions of valuation, portfolio management or remarketing with other reputable finance companies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated skills in equipment valuation and forecasting
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills to interact with management, sales, credit and customers
Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
