We are hiring a Sr.Advanced Display Technology Research Engineerat Honeywell. In this role you will be responsible for leveraging technical expertise to provide solutions for complex challenges in the aerospace industry. Technical areas of focus include novel display technology, vehicle vision systems, and display/user interfaces.
You will lead and contribute to the ideation and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, ensuring alignment with Honeywell's business objectives. You will work for our Aerospace Advanced and Applied Technology organization and work out of our Phoenix-Deer Valley location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the future of aerospace technology and drive rapid innovation within the organization.

The annual base salary range for this position is $119,000 - $149,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute and lead in the ideation, development, and commercialization of innovative solutions for the aerospace industry
Drive innovation by identifying new technologies and end-user needs that impact our business
Propose and develop new research projects with a view to eventual end-use offerings
Document research work and contribute to patent applications
Evaluate emerging technologies for their applicability to current and future projects
Support the transfer of technology from R&D to commercialization teams
Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and project-related risks
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS:
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, engineering, technology, or mathematics and 4+ years of experience leading research projects, either in academia or industry
WE VALUE:
Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Optics, or related fields or Doctoral degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Optics, or related fields
Proven track record of technical project leadership and project management
Demonstrated technical creativity in the development of new technologies and technical solutions
Experience with development of both software and hardware
Experience with development of display and vision systems
Demonstrated ability to drive technology commercialization
Passion for innovation, experimentation, and continuous development
Broad technical experiences with the ability to easily transition between technology areas
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
