Service Administrator - Military Veterans

The Service Administrator is responsible for day-to-day accounting, time keeping, and record keeping functions. The Service Administrator is also responsible for assisting the Service Manager, Service Advisor, Service Foreman in the performance of their duties.Rush Truck Leasing opens the door to the world of opportunity. Grow with us as we continue to expand our network of locations and services.Responsibilities:- Greet and assist customers, coordinate appointments and service.- Accurate review of repair orders to ensure that work is complete, authorizations are noted and technician comments are appropriate.- Complete timely closing of repair orders.- Review parts on operations are correct (based on level of experience, foremen may need to review), verify parts personnel sign off on parts billed.- Conduct weekly preventive maintenance scheduling, ensuring equipment is reviewed for DOT and Federal campaign compliance.- Communicate with customers and advise when service is complete.- Enter or adjust all technician time in the business system for non-warranty repairs, from foreman notation on repair orders.- Ensure proper billing and documentation on repair orders.- Provide support with parts inventory and core returns.- Obtain customer purchase orders when necessary.- Secure credit authorization when necessary.- Perform daily rental yard check including inbound/outbound inspection of rental equipment, communication with customer and rental dept.Benefits:We offer exceptional compensation and benefits, 401K and stock purchase, incentives for performance, training, and opportunity for advancement - all in a culture that appreciates and rewards excellence, a positive attitude and integrity.Basic Qualifications:- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).- One month service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Valid Drivers License and good driving record.Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/DisabledThis job posting does not state or imply that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
