To implement its academic programs, the College of Science and Engineering provides instruction and research opportunities in the natural and behavioral sciences, information technology, data science, computer science, mathematics, pre-engineering, and engineering. The College welcomes applications from temporary/part-time faculty with the ability to teach one or more courses in one or more of the following departments and disciplines: Mathematics and Statistics Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Undergraduate course teaching: Masters degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution. Graduate course teaching: Terminal degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution. Those with equivalent verifiable professional experience, certifications, and licensures in the discipline may also be considered. Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Required Certifications or Licensure: Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit: The College of Science and Engineering (CSE) offers a variety of programs leading to Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, and Master of Science degrees, as well as Doctor of Philosophy degrees in applied coastal and ocean sciences; pharmaceutical chemistry; integrative, comparative, and marine biology; and psychology degrees. The college also offers combined bachelor's/master's degree programs in information technology/computer science and information systems, computer science/computer science and information systems, and B.S. in mathematics/M.S. in mathematics. The college also has a B.A. in Physics, Chemistry, Geography and Geospatial Sciences, Geosciences, Environmental Sciences, Mathematics (and Mathematics with teacher licensure), Psychology, and Biology.
