Job Overview

Under the general supervision of the Lindner Business Honors Director, the LBH Program Manager of Special Projects will design, launch and develop the building blocks associated with the Lindner Consulting Accelerator. This position is a part-time, 50% FTE, 20 hours per week position. This position is for a two-year period. The role interacts with senior level managers and partners in consulting as well as coordinates with junior level and current student organizations to assist with programming designed to accelerate company and student interaction in the consulting industry. This is a rollout initiative exploring and advising on future options. Industry benchmarking and coordination across UC programs will be essential.

Additionally, this role will assist with the coordination and advising on the upcoming 30-year anniversary of the Lindner Business Honors (LBH) program. The role will work with the LBH Alumni Advisory Board, the UC Foundation, and LBH Directors and students for this one-time event.

This position will have the option of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days work from home) for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY following 90 days of training. Residence must be in the tri-state area within reasonable distance to UC Main Campus to have ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.

Essential Functions

  • Design, develop and modify the Lindner Consulting Accelerator. Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations, assembling and organizing an advisory board.
  • Advise and coordinate the Lindner Business Honors 30-year anniversary celebration event
  • Implement policies and procedures.
  • Maintain budget, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and report on annual account usages.
  • Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations.
  • May prepare and edit reports and develop publication materials.
  • Perform related duties that support the Lindner Business Honors Program as needed.


Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.


Required Experience

  • Three (3) years of relevant experience


Additional Qualifications

• Experience coordinating cross functional teams across diverse business backgrounds in the area of consulting or similar corporate business environments

• Familiarity with Lindner Business Honors and its alumni base

• Campus/student engagement activities or speaking engagements
