Job Summary
As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for Purchasing Systems and Support. You will manage the implementations of highly complex and critical strategies as part of the Purchasing Team. You will partner, cross-functionally, to understand future business needs and support the development of roadmaps to deliver on customer demands, optimizing system processes and identify opportunities for system and process improvements. You will be the primary interface between internal and global teams within the business and Procurement to identify and resolve system issues, recommend system and process enhancements and coordinate training requirements. Additionally, as part of the Process Management Team, you will provide support on special projects as required.

Responsibilities
Strategic Initiatives
- Act as an innovation partner to the department Director and related leadership team. Promote out-of-the-box thinking. Collaborate with other stakeholders and improve processes by bringing ideas to execution. Create strong, trust-worthy relationships with peers and other stakeholders.
- Act as lead technical advisor to Global Purchasing Team on all Ariba system upgrades, enhancements, and modifications.
- Ensure alignment between the business and technical needs during system changes. Lead, execute and document testing of change implementations to the system.
- Maintain user approver tables and coordinate with Global Purchasing to maintain authorization integrity within the system.
- Working with the business and Procurement team to define new requirements and implement system changes as needed.
- Provide day to day resolutions to submitted IT help desk ticket system for Ariba software system issues and requests.
- Communicate to Business and Purchasing users of the applications of system changes and coordinate training if necessary.
Process Efficiency and Leadership Support
- Directly working with process owners, IT partners and Global Purchasing to identify, promote, and drive the implementation of process improvements, enabling automation tools or systems enhancements that deliver tangible value to the organization by optimizing process time and end-user experience.
- Perform qualitative analysis of key performance indicators to identify further opportunities for improvement in the existing processes.
- Create and analyze business process diagrams and flowcharts to document current state of processes (AS IS) and to support process optimization initiatives.Collect and document business requirements for process improvement/automation efforts. Ensure project adheres to planned timelines and progresses according to project goals. Assess the change impact and support communication and training efforts.
- Promote innovative solutions and collaborate with internal and external Subject Matter Experts and vendors to research for new solutions, trends, tools, and technologies.
Process Management Support
- Work with various departments to understand and meet their Purchasing needs.
- Develop reference guides related to the Purchasing process and Purchasing applications. Assist with training of new Purchasing and Business Team members on Purchasing process when requested.
- Provide budgeting support, forecasting and variance reporting.
- Support internal and external controls. Support internal and external audits and rate cases.
- Monitor and analyze supplier base, including collecting of supplier information and analysis of ethics, financial risk and other requirements associated with the Purchase process.
- Responsible for generating and maintain various reports and presentations as required. Includes tracking and trending of performance measures (KPI's).

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline plus meaningful relevant experience in consultancy projects, business process improvement or innovation projects (required). Master's Degree in Business or related discipline is preferred.
- 3 -5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in SAP Ariba
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
- Project management skills and ability to lead multiple high-profile projects of varying timelines simultaneously across various stakeholder without direct ownership of resources. Evaluate project progress and identify risks and problems and ensure timely escalation/solution. Strong ability to prioritize work and maintain good judgement in a rapidly changing environment. Able to work independently, prioritize work, meet tight deadlines, while utilizing patience, emotional intelligence, and cognitive flexibility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to communicate and collaborate effectively and regularly with colleagues at all levels within the organization.
- Proactive and Analytical Thinker: demonstrated ability to manage a high degree of complexity and to distill information, able to think strategically.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred).
