job summary:

An E&C Engineer is needed for a utility holding company in the Cheyenne Wells, CO area. An Electrical Engineer responsible for leading complex design and development projects, serving as a technical expert to optimize product quality, efficiency, and safety while providing technical leadership and managing project execution from conception to completion.

responsibilities:

• Design, model, develop, and test machines, structures, or systems to meet functional requirements.

• Apply standard engineering principles and create simulations/prototypes to evaluate designs.

• Design and test components, ensuring effective integration into final products.

• Monitor product quality, optimize process efficiency, and control costs.

• Conduct root cause analysis to address failures and recommend design/process improvements.

• Serve as a technical project engineer or subject matter expert for assigned areas.

• Lead major or complex projects, including equipment specification, installation, start-up, and commissioning.

• Act as a company expert, maintaining contacts with internal and external stakeholders.

• Independently determine and pursue courses of action to achieve desired project outcomes.

Skills: Ability to demonstrate the unique technical skills and core competencies for this engineering level established & documented by the organization.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or recognized equivalent).

• 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.

• FE registration preferred.
