The Ray and Stephanie Lane Computational Biology Department (CBD) at Carnegie Mellon University is renowned for its interdisciplinary approach to studying biological systems using computational methods. Faculty and researchers collaborate across fields such as computer science, biology, and statistics to tackle complex biological questions. We are seeking a Research Associate (part-time) to help assist in the development and execution of research projects. including experiment design, analysis of data collected and writing up experiment results. Core responsibilities include: Reviewing literature and scientific writings Experiment design Data analysis Writing up experiment results Flexibility, excellence, and passion are vital qualities within CMU.
