Cardiac monitor technicians, also known as telemetry technicians, monitor multiple patient's heart activity and interpret heart rhythms from a central monitoring center covering multiple acute care locations. Job Summary and Qualifications

  Provide system oversite and daily coordination of CMU processes including the management and maintenance of telemetry monitoring and Cemer Patient Observer "CPO." Serves as a liaison for all system affiliates to facilitate continued quality assurance, training, and education that is consistent with departmental and system accountabilities. Oversees daily operations by assuring adequate staffing, providing clinical support, and maintaining accreditation readiness. Supervises monitor Technician II's to assure timely customer service and exercises supervisor responsibilities through independent problem solving and collaboration with departmental leaders. Other duties as assigned by departmental leaders.  


What qualifications you will need:
  • Required: High School diploma or GED, completion of dysrhythmia course. Comparable experience and skills also considered.
  • Required experience: Previous experience in health care environment. 6 months in a telemetry setting.
