The primary purpose of this position is the responsibility for the daily operation and maintenance of all HVAC & Refrigeration equipment in all areas of the campus, including the repair, replacement, installation and maintenance of air conditioning equipment ranging from 1875-ton centrifugal chillers to window air conditioning units. This position is also responsible for the scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance in all areas of campus. This position is a lead position with full responsibility for the operation and maintenance of all HVAC and refrigeration equipment on campus. Supervisor may assign other job related duties not specifically listed under essential tasks. 25% Maintenance and Operation of Chillers 25% Preventive and Corrective Maintenance 10% Calibration, Operation and Maintenance of Controls 10% Pumps, Air Handlers and Air Compressors 10% Refrigeration System Maintenance Repair 10% Record Keeping and Administration 5% Safety 5% Renovation and New Construction This position is a mandatory position as defined in the Adverse Weather and Emergency Event Policy. This position requires working an emergency call-back rotation and may be called in for emergency response during nights, weekends, and holidays. HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENCY ; OR DEMONSTRATED POSSESSION OF THE COMPETENCIES NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE WORK . SOME POSITIONS MAY REQUIRE SPECIAL LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION .
