Director, IT - NA - Military Veterans

The Director of IT - North America is responsible for regional management of Run Time Operations within North America. This role will work in a matrixed organizational structure, supporting external and Internal stakeholders, to ensure the smooth running of functions within the IT organization. The role is multifaceted, and encompasses a wide variety of HR, financial, operational, administrative and reporting tasks in order to make sure that business and administrative operations are monitored, managed and maintained, and the associated stakeholders are kept abreast of matters which may concern them.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Regional Systems Management and Integration Function

  • Leads the IT Warehouse Conversion, infrastructure conversions, field services and IT operational metrics for North America
  • Accountable for ensuring that regional infrastructure meets the demands of the business, orchestrating delivery across several Service Providers
  • Provides feedback to Global Infrastructure Engineering team, on regional requirements and needs, to ensure incorporation into the Lineage Global Standard.
  • Manages the regional service provider(s) performance of the services agreed to by the master services agreement for consistency, with both the spirit and the letter of the agreement, as well as operational performance metrics.
  • Works with Business Stakeholders and Global Infrastructure teams to develop and maintain disaster recovery plans
  • Ensures a positive end user experience for team members, within the region.
  • Manages and monitors escalated service provider issues, change management processes, and escalation procedures within the region
  • Responsible for regional coordination of any acquisition related projects and moving them to Lineage Standard infrastructure and applications.
  • Ensures timely resolution of escalated service delivery problems and minimizes the impact of any client service delivery issues
  • Assists in the prioritization of capital expense prioritization within the region.
  • Champions Continuous Improvement and works with global Service Delivery function to make sure this is effectively carried out within the region.
  • Accountable for communicating status of IT projects with business stakeholders. This includes working with stakeholders to facilitate risk and issue resolutions with the IT Global planning function and the business.

Establishing & Implementing Standards

  • Provides effective leadership in support of the North American IT organization including resourcing, budget, structure, and policies and procedures
  • Establishes, maintains and monitors IT budgets
  • Implements, adheres and monitors security compliance to Lineage Global Standards, and regional requirements.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ Years in IT, Systems, Supply Chain, Applications Projects
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Demonstrated success in managing IT teams and functions
  • Proven experience in executive stakeholder management and collaboration.
  • Experience with and knowledge of IT outsourcing activities in a managed services environment
  • Strong process management, negotiating, influencing and problem resolution skills
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience in business systems and process planning
  • Knowledge of business environment, service requirements and hospitality culture
  • Demonstrated ability to assess customer/client needs, creatively approach solutions, decide, and influence appropriate courses of action
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas in easy-to-understand business terms
  • Ability to accomplish results through others, particularly by establishing relationships, effective controls and leading in a managed service environment, as well as a matrixed organizational structure.
