Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager Med Surg ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit. The Manager also monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State which you practice or must hold Compact/Multi-State RN License required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• A current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association (AHA or American Red Cross) are required
• 5+ years of clinical experience in an acute care setting required; 1+ years of supervisory/managerial experience required
