5th Generation Fighter Program Management and Technical Support - Military Veterans

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the development, refinement, and production of life cycle management plans in support of integrating DMO systems with the 5th Generation Fighter Mission Training Centers (MTCs).
  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of M&S, DMO, and LVC concepts to provide technical and analytical assistance in the development, validation, and coordination of various 5th Generation Fighter DMO capability requirements.
  • Assisting with the integration of CAF DMO capability requirements into the 5th Generation Fighter MTC programs.
  • Assisting with the consolidation and submission of both existing and new requirements for annual Budget Estimate Submissions/Amended Budget Estimate Submissions (BES/ABES) and annual Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions to ACC/A5A.
  • Providing 5th Generation Fighter training advice on operational, logistical, and technical issues, transition strategy, project, schedules, programs, plans and other time-sensitive documents.
  • Assisting HQ ACC/A5A in collaboration and interface with Functional Area Managers to develop 5th Generation Fighter training device requirements, resolution of training issues and shortfalls, and provide recommendations and guidance for simulator enhancements to support RAP training.
  • Assisting HQ ACC/A5A in collaboration and interface with the 5th Generation Fighter O&I SPO, training sites, operational hours and integration to resolve technical problems.
  • Assisting HQ ACC/A5A in collaboration and interfaces with the 5th Generation Fighter SPO to ensure successful simulator upgrades and enhancements programs.
  • Assisting in the development, validation, and coordination of varied requirements documents.

Qualifications

  • Must "be able" to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
  • A bachelor’s degree is desired. 
  • A rated fighter experience is desired. 
  • 3 years of NAF or higher staff experience managing complex operational aviation programs is desired
  • 5 years of simulator experience is desired.
  • 5 years' experience in Requirements, Operations and SPO interactions is desired.
