The School of Architecture is seeking applications and nominations for the following faculty position: Assistant or Associate Professor, Tenure-Track in Architectural Design. Rank will be determined upon review of curriculum vitae at the time of offer. The position will be available starting July 1, 2025. The School will consider outstanding candidates to teach upper-level architectural design studio courses. In addition to teaching design studios, candidates may have an opportunity to develop coursework in their secondary fields of expertise, especially those related to new traditional architecture and urbanism, architectural history, theory, and landscape architecture. Responsibilities Teach a combination of upper-level undergraduate or graduate studio course and/or core architecture curriculum in both the fall and spring semesters Maintain an active scholarly research, practice, or creative work trajectory Participation in meetings, committees, reviews, presentations, and other service activities throughout the academic year, both within the School of Architecture and the University. Qualifications: Required: Applicants must have a terminal degree (Master's or PhD) by the time of appointment, a record of excellence in research or practice/creative work, as appropriate for the candidate's rank and a commitment to teaching excellence. Preferred: Faculty with demonstrated administrative capability, especially with academic affairs or service to institutions like the ACSA, NAAB or AIA are encouraged to apply.
