JOB SUMMARY:

Work in all areas of the Empire Southwest. Accept assignments and projects that will provide the knowledge and experiences to progress into advanced management, staff, or sales positions within Empire Southwest. Gain this experience through a multi- year program that exposes the employee to headquarters as well as branch store operations. Must be willing to work out of town, various shifts, and long hours to accomplish assignments and goals. Must be prepared to be considered as a strong candidate for an advanced position in supervision, management, staff, or sales at the end of the training program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Learn all facets of Marketing Operations and business markets through exposure to general construction, mining, agriculture, governmental and engine business.
• Learn all facets of Parts Operations through exposure to inventory control, corporate exchange, warehousing and distribution, allied parts, parts sales, and Parts Store
• Learn all facets of Construction Sales/Rental Operations through exposure to clients, sales transactions, inventory systems/control, sales accounting, merchandising, business planning, market share, and competition.
• Learn all facets of Mining Sales Operations through exposure to clients, sales transactions, new machine and product support sales, business planning, market share, and competition.
• Learn all facets of Service Operations through exposure to shop/field service operations, labor inventory systems, job management, cost accounting, and client services.
• Learn all facets of Product Support Sales Operations through exposure to clients, sales transactions, sales accounting, merchandising, business planning, market share, and competition.
• Learn all facets of Technical Services through exposure to technical services operations, corporate interface, and failure analysis as a technical analyst with an assigned product.
• Learn all facets of Condition Monitoring through exposure to condition monitoring operations, planning, and client management.
• Learn Mesa and Branch Store Operations.
• Assume responsibility for assigned projects and completes them in a satisfactory manner and according to deadlines.
• Accept and perform job responsibilities in all areas and stores as assigned.
• Work in the Finance, Accounting, Human Resources and Training Departments for a limited time to gain an understanding and knowledge of their functions and operations.
