Bluelight Inspector, 2nd Shift - Military Veterans

RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary
Howmet Aerospace has an immediate opening for an Bluelight Inspector in our Tooling Business Center at our Engines Products - Cleveland Operations Tempcraft facility located at 3960 S. Marginal Rd. in Cleveland. The Inspection Services Operator role is to ensure customer requirements are satisfied using ATOS software, inspection processes and data analysis. This role will collaborate with the manufacturing and engineering teams.
This is a 2nd shift position working Monday-Friday 3:30pm - 12:00 am.

We excel in vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings and hot isostatic pressing for high performance parts that enable the next generation of quieter, more fuel-efficient aero engines and cleaner power generation.
Job Responsibilities
The job responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following elements:
- Utilize structured light scanners, coordinate measuring machines, run software scripts.
- Save inspection output and data files to appropriate location as directed.
- Adhere to applicable quality standards, company policies and procedures, customer requirements, and safety initiatives.
- Calibrate bluelight scanners / camera
- Utilize inspection software such as GOM and ATOS through operator kiosk controls or PC program interfaces.
- Perform any post-processing of data as required.
- Adhere to applicable quality standards, company policies and procedures, customer requirements, and safety initiatives.
- Cooperate with peers by participating in an active cross-training environment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Team-oriented attitude
- Additional functions as designated by Operations Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
Job Specifications
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience analyzing Bluelight Inspection Data utilizing ATOS Software
- Working knowledge of CMM / SLM preferred or comparable metrology experience
- Bluelight Inspection and CMM knowledge/ experience utilizing ATOS Software
- Experience in Investment Casting Tooling Inspection (Core & Wax Tooling)
