We are looking for a talented Skilled Technician – Level III to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Support Manufacturing Needs : Perform skilled activities that directly contribute to the efficiency and productivity of the manufacturing process.
- Ensure Safety : Adhere to and promote Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Maintain High Quality : Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship, ensuring that all tasks are performed to the highest quality.
- Equipment Maintenance : Perform preventive, emergency, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities to ensure equipment uptime and reliability.
- Continuous Improvement : Participate in continuous improvement activities, helping to identify and reduce manufacturing constraints and improve processes.
- Team Collaboration : Communicate effectively with your team and support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Training and Development : Instruct and coach others, acting as an informal resource for team members with less capability, and engage in personal development and training.
- Environmental Responsibility : Recognize and minimize the environmental impact of your work, ensuring sustainable practices are followed.

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS

Unique Core Responsibilities:
- Support VPI Program Beta builds and PPAP’s.
- Inventory and manage prototype parts.
- Create MSO's. Ship and receive tools and components.
- Train associates on new processes
Skill Requirements:
- SAMS component set up.
- Update controlled documents.
- Support tooling/station design.
- Install new tooling and equipment.
- Independent self- starter
Skill Preferences:
- Set up and close VPC’s.
- Capital project experience.
