Affiliate Executive - Military Veterans

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting into the Affiliate Manager, the Affiliate Executive will support the wider affiliate team in growing affiliate revenues across all Hearst brands. The role will focus on improving revenues by developing relationships with affiliate networks and their brand portfolio, working with editorial teams to optimize content on/off platform, securing profitable tenancy partnerships, tracking performance of existing campaigns, and reporting on overall performance to the wider business.

  • Work closely with affiliate networks to identify new growth opportunities
  • Build strategies to deliver affiliate campaigns and deliver against business goals
  • Manage comms to editorial re deals, promos, sales, exclusives, new rates
  • Support with group wide analysis and comms for key shopping moments such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday & Prime Day
  • Work with editorial to ensure all evergreen content is fully optimised to EPC on a regular basis, making recommendations on product/merchant positioning
  • Collaborating with internal teams to optimize revenues from Amazon programs
  • Ensure content is clear of broken links, out of stock and 404 errors on a regular basis
  • Support any innovation / technical site implementation projects to grow affiliate revenue
  • Contribute to monthly & quarterly ecommerce reporting to the business
  • Manage any ad hoc data analysis requests by internal teams
  • Support the wider team in identifying diversification opportunities with regards to Affiliate tenancy, negotiating and managing tenancy deals with key partners.
  • Support with project managing multiple departments to ensure all tenancy campaigns are well-executed and deliverables met and clearly reported.


ABOUT YOU
  • Some experience in affiliates, ecommerce or performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of how affiliate marketing operates in practice as a strategy for both merchant and publisher.
  • Experience in working with affiliate networks such as Awin, Impact and Skimlinks.
  • Employment history within a client-facing role, negotiating or selling retail-based campaigns.
  • Understanding of performance KPIs such as CPA, EPC and conversion rates.
  • A keen interest in data and the ability to spot and report on trends
  • Ability to manage and build key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excel capabilities
