General Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Analyst to join the Enterprise Operations team of the Office of Technology ( OTS ). The Business Analyst (BA) will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and IT departments to analyze, design, and implement solutions that support the institution's goals and improve operational efficiency. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on data-driven decision-making to enhance student and faculty experiences. The BA will drive strategic projects, ensure process alignment with institutional objectives, and serve as a bridge between stakeholders to support campus-wide digital transformation initiatives. Department: Enterprise Systems Position Category: Full Time Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field. 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT, business administration, or a related area. Knowledge & Skills: Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, creating workflows, and supporting project management efforts. Ability to work independently with strong initiative and proactive problem-solving skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess business needs and develop effective, data-driven solutions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels. Collaborative mindset, working effectively across cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and business units. Highly detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a timely and organized manner. Strong management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.
