Position Summary

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Financial Management professional to provide contract support to the Department of Navy (DON), Chief Information Office (CIO). The position requires the candidate to generate DOD funding documents, attend budget/ programmatic/execution meetings, interact with the customer and other stake holders on a regular basis. Be able to provide updates to the customer on various financial task, Purchase Requisitions, etc. Able to update the funding logs on a regular basis, track the status of all funding documents from start to finish and advise the customer on a regular on-going basis.

HII's expertise in wireless communication includes 50+ years of performing RF Engineering for DoD, gov. agencies, and commercially both in the US and overseas, analyzing, and formatting spectrum data, including frequency assignment, spectrum certification, LiDAR, and other geo-referenced data. Our Scientists and Engineers support diverse tasks such as spectrum forensics and deconfliction, testing for coverage amid urban clutter, and antenna site planning. HII's RESED team offers opportunities from projects supporting international satellite coordination in space to countering IEDs. What you will do:

• Procurement and Acquisition Management

• Budget Execution and Formulation
• Pre-Solicitation and Contract Award
• ERP System or equivalent access, training, and experience

What we are looking for:

• 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
• DOD or Federal government Financial Management experience
• Bachelor of Science degree, no specific major
• Secret security clearance eligiable
• Highly Detail-oriented
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to solve complex problems and resolve issues
• Team-oriented

• US Government Secret Clearance
• Dept of Navy Financial Management experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in Finances
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledgeable with the following data bases
  • COBRA - Computerized Optimized Batch Reconciliation System
  • DCAS Defense - Cash Accountability System
  • DoD PPBE - Programming, Planning, Budgeting, and Execution

Physical Requirements

• Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
• Position is 80% virtual, the 20% will be in-person at the Pentagon
