Maintenance Technician II - Military Veterans

The Maintenance Technician is part of the team that maintains and optimizes our equipment reliability to ensure production and quality goals are met. Applicants need to possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities to be considered:
Shift: B shift: 6am-6pm / D Shift: 6pm-6am
Skills:
- Technical understanding and skills with a focus on safety Familiarity and experience with motors, drives, contacts, relays, timers, PLC's, PC's.
- Corrugated equipment maintenance experience or related heavy industrial maintenance experience
- Understanding of control circuits, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ensure compliance with all Safety and Quality standards, processes, procedures
- Willingness to take initiative, learn new skills and help team members
- General computer skills such as the ability to navigate through program screens
- Ensure compliance with all Safety and Quality standards, processes, procedures
- Strong reasoning and problem solving skills
- Awareness of OSHA standards for electrical safety
Knowledge/Abilities:
- Ability to perform electrical, mechanical and welding work as necessary
- Ability to read and understand wiring schematics, machine manuals, mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to read and understand production specifications
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
- Must maintain excellent attendance reliability
- Must be able to work in a 24/7 environment, 12hr shifts
- Willing to work any shift
- Willing to work overtime, as needed
Education:
- Corrugating and manufacturing experience, a plus
- Associate's degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Machining, or a related field experience preferred
- Demonstrated advanced training or certification In the maintenance mechanical/electrical industry
