Mailroom Coordinator - Military Veterans

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience with shipping and receiving processes. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate records to support our logistics operations.
Duties
- Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all processes are executed efficiently.
- Organize and maintain files related to inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to load and unload products safely.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and manage stock accurately.
- Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely distribution of products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
