Description:The employee will serve as a Sustainment Engineer Asc. on the Fixed Wing Sniper program Logistics & Sustainment Engineering (LSE) team. Fixed Wing LSE program supports multiple United States Air Force, Foreign Military Sales, and Direct Commercial Sales contracts. Duties include contract compliance monitoring, parts consumption and prediction analysis, material estimating and planning, obsolescence management, repair database entry and analysis, retrofit database entry and analysis, NOR incorporation and review, daily interaction with Orlando, Ocala and depot team, and various other logistical and analytical taskings. Current work scope spans multiple contract efforts across more than 25 customers (including international) with unique requirements. Candidate will have experience with multiple contract types to include Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), Test and Evaluation (T&E), Performance Based Logistics (PBL), Basic Ordering Agreements (BOAs), and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). Employee must have strong verbal and written communication skills. The employee will be tasked with generating and interpreting many different reports both on a routine and repeatable basis and also on an ad hoc basis. The employee will comply will all training requirements necessary for the successful completion of assigned duties. Employee should have awareness and/or experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The employee may be required to prepare Shippers utilizing the Material Movement System, ensure accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution and retention of all reports and records. The employee must be able to respond to direction quickly and efficiently and work well with other team members, handle multiple tasks and provide logistical support for a multitude of different contracts. The employee will coordinate with Engineering as required on new designs, obsolescence management, and failure issues to ensure future sustainment impacts are identified and mitigated. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin Fixed Wing Target Depot at Robins, AFB and the Orlando based repair operations team to fulfill contractual obligations. The successful candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed. Candidate must be able to work in an environment which requires them to interact with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature. Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software packages with emphasis on Excel and Power Point.
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Microsoft office (excel and powerpoint)
- Some technical aptitude as either highlighted in the resume and/or discussed in interview
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in sustainment, supply chain, or related STEM degree
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Individual must be a self-starter capable of effectively managing multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and be detailed oriented towards project management
- Previous internship or work study program with DoD contractor or military affiliation
- Prior military experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
