The Administrative Assistant provides high-level, executive support to the Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education (GME) and the Director of GME, which includes administrative support, calendaring, travel planning, processing of reimbursements, workflow management, and completing special projects. In addition, the Administrative Assistant serves as a resource and liaison to the campus community and the public; conducts data collection and analysis as assigned; and staffs/participates in Office of GME activities, including events, annual trainee orientations, workshops, meetings, etc. The Administrative Assistant is required to use independent analyses and decision-making that often impacts faculty, residents, fellows, other stakeholders, and Office of GME colleagues. These responsibilities require the Administrative Assistant to assess and understand the significance of various activities in relation to each other; use excellent judgement in decision-making and prioritization; and employ confidentiality at all times. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $29.05 - $53.50 (Hourly Rate).
