Field Service Technician - Military Veterans

As a Regional Field Service Technician, you will provide technical support and repair of municipal customers' equipment in the field (water/wastewater environments). To maintain the quality of service at a high level in support of the company's sales effort. This role will require you to have a strong electrical background with some pump and valve experience. You will be working in a dirty setting as the pumps do deal with sewage so you must be okay with that.

While some overnight travel is part of the job, rest assured, you'll be home most nights. If you relish the freedom of working independently, crafting your schedule, and getting hands-on with technical challenges, this role is tailor-made for you.

Essential duties:

- Inspect, repair, and service equipment at the customer's location

- Can understand and repair electrical controls

- Establish a work schedule in coordination with the Service and Repair Manager and Repair Coordinator

- Perform preventative maintenance service on customer equipment at the customer's location

- Perform some in-shop equipment repair

- Maintain field or shop work area in a safe, clean, and working order

- Proper safety equipment to be used per company safety policies

- Travel for customer assistance or training

- Other duties as assigned by management

Base salary, $65K - $95K DOE, plus overtime. You can take the company vehicle home each night, and all travel is paid for.
