Lecturer in Botany and Plant Sciences University of California Riverside The Department of Botany and Plant Sciences at the University of California Riverside anticipates hiring temporary, part-time Instructors for a variety of courses, to be taught in Spring 2025 (Spring Quarter runs late March to mid-June). *All Positions are contingent upon funding. This is a part time teaching position that involves teaching a number of courses per year depending on demand. The current base pay range for this position is $68,247 to $192,040. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Basic qualifications for this position that must be met by the date of application include: Master's or Ph.D. in Plant Biology/Botany-related disciplines with significant teaching experience at University/College level of upper division courses. Preferred qualifications for this position include: Instructor experience for both lecture and laboratory courses is required. Teach a wide range of plant biology topics including physiology, anatomy, systematics, developmental morphology, and ecology.
