Salary Range: Â Â Â Hourly from $25.29 to $36.71; Annually from $52,805 to $76,650

* Salary placement is dependent on education and experience

Assignment Start/End: (12/4/2024 â" 5/4/2025)

THE POSITION AND THE DEPARTMENT

This position's purpose is to analyze the effectiveness of the Facilities Management division's systems, processes, and procedures to maximize efficiencies, reduce costs and waste, and minimize environmental impact. This position will develop, recommend and implement solutions to identified issues, and serve as the data and records management liaison for the Facilities Management division.

This position will work independently with minimal project related supervision from the Associate Vice President of Operations and Safety, and will provide regular communication with faculty and staff.

This position will actively advance the college's strategic goals, including to achieve equity in educational outcomes and to support a culturally responsive and service-oriented culture, through individual and departmental efforts.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications (expected to have to enter job)

  • Associate degree in computer science, business, data analytics or closely related field,
  • year of professional experience analyzing data and creating reports; OR equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Experience and high level of comfort with technology and computers in a PC environment, including intermediate to advanced level Excel skills;
  • Experience and skill in data retrieval, data integrity, analysis and reporting;
  • Knowledge of project management and process improvement techniques


Other knowledge, skills, and abilities that we will be interviewing for:
  • Verbal and written communications skills sufficient to develop documentation and facilitate training presentations for users of varying skill levels, in use of software technical tools, processes and procedures
  • Exceptional organizational skills demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Customer service skills sufficient to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders


Preferred Qualifications (desired but not expected to have to enter job)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, facilities management or related field;
  • Two (2) years of professional experience performing data analytics, data driven process improvement and/or mechanical system optimization;
  • Experience in Computerized Maintenance Management Information System (CMMIS) software and Energy Management System (EMS) software
  • Demonstrated skill and experience in project management and process improvement techniques
  • Demonstrated ability developing processes and procedures and leading their implementation
