Join our team at Lockheed Martin, where we're leading the development of the Missile Defense Enterprise Modeling and Simulation capabilities as the prime contractor of the Modeling and Simulation for Framework and Tools Contract (MASC-F), an agile software development program enabling the development, testing, and deployment of the nation’s Missile Defense System.
THE WORK
As the MASC-F Sr Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
Program Management & Leadership:
• Lead a diverse group of ~150 personnel from various companies assigned to the MASC-F program
• Build a collaborative coalition consisting of industry and government organizations working toward the continuous development and deployment of our nation’s Missile Defense System
• Proactively manage day-to-day operations of the program and synchronize the efforts of multiple support functions to maintain program efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure successful execution and performance of existing contracts and position the business for future growth and capture of new business
• Serve as the primary interface with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Senior Leadership, including the Modeling and Simulation Director, Deputy Directors, and other Program Executives, while developing and maintaining strong relationships with MDA stakeholders, including program managers, technical leads, and acquisition officials
• Communicate program status, progress, and issues to both Lockheed Martin and MDA stakeholders, and negotiate program changes and adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with MDA stakeholders to identify and prioritize program requirements, and ensure that the MASC-F program is aligned with MDA's strategic objectives
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Engage in cross-business area collaboration to deliver a OneLM solution to the warfighter
• Communicate with high-level internal and external customers, including Lockheed Martin Senior Leadership and other government agencies
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, subcontractors, and suppliers
Growth and Capture:
• Partner with business development to identify growth strategies and lead overall capture effort for new programs
• Develop and execute capture strategies aligned with customer needs and Lockheed Martin's Win Plan

You are a strategic leader with a proven track record in program management and capture management, with a strong understanding of the MDA's mission and requirements. Your expertise includes:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• A deep understanding of capture strategies and proposal development processes
• Ability to manage complex projects and align resources effectively to meet goals
• Experience working with the MDA and/or other government agencies, with a strong understanding of their requirements and acquisition processes

Basic Qualifications:
•Experienced program manager
•Strong leadership skills, P/L leadership skills and business acumen to include a strong understanding of EVM
•Experience managing program schedules and business rhythms
•Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership

•Experience in presenting to and communicating with high-level internal and external customers.
•Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Desired Skills:
•Experience with Missile Defense Agency
•Experience with Agile Dev Ops and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
•Experience with business development/capture management for large software development programs
•Demonstrated experience in organizational change management specific to Agile and DevSecOps
•Keen understanding of strategic US DoD vision for Missile Defense, both homeland and regional

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
