Job Description
HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Configuration Manager to assist in providing Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) analytics across U.S. Navy networks to achieve detection-in-depth for maritime forces afloat and ashore. This role is located in Charleton SC.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Lead and support Physical and Functional Configuration Audits (PCA/FCA)
- Author and implement configuration management (CM) plans and manage throughout CM lifecycle.
- Assist in code migration and release management.
- Plan and coordinate IT initiatives such as release deployment plan, disaster recovery validation plan, etc.
- Manage ticket queue and closely collaborate with release management team and developers/testers.
- Proactively monitor environments to ensure a stable and well-performing application.
- Work effectively in a client facing role and build a trusting relationship with major project stakeholders and lead them to adoption of the best solution.
Minimum Qualifications
- Individuals must have an active Secret clearance with SSBI investigation in DISS.
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- 0-2 Years relevant experience
- 2+ years of experience managing and controlling changes to baseline configurations of systems and software
- 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining configuration management plans, policies, procedures, and documentation
- Experience performing audits of systems and software to verify compliance with established baselines
- Experience enforcing and recommending configuration standards and best practices
- Experience reviewing and updating configuration management processes
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in Configuration Management tools such as: CMPro, Microsoft SCCM, ManageEngine, Git, Bitbucket IBM Rational, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
